Mabels bedroom

Every inch of this room looks beautiful and works hard. This has been one of my absolute favourites to work on.

A spicy little 8 year old in bristol is now living her very best life.

- All busy storage and books is to the right as you walk in, out of the main sightline. With boxes for her amazing book collection and so much flat space for Lego display and play.
- A beautiful desk for crafting is set against a warm and cosy pink, with scallop detailing.
- A spinning, twirling reading nook for play as well as deep thoughts is set into the bay.
- We've reinstated the hearth, with a flexible artwork display above.
- A four poster, for dreams and womb like comfort. We've used Sisu and a Grownup style bedding, as the room also needs to function as a spare room.
- Then there are two full wardrobes with bespoke shelving - one for Mabel and one for the family.
- Rugs GALORE, to provide softness on top of aged and heritage wood flooring.

This room perfectly encapsulates what a room can do. Practically it ticks all the boxes, it has everything M and the family could ever need from one room. And it’s fucking GORGEOUS. As every room can and should be.
