Ex-Pub - Kitchen/ Lounge & Hallways

This was a dream brief - a converted pub in Cambridge.

This gorgeous family had purchased it with a full refurb in mind, and had been fighting with the interiors for a year - with every woman and her auntie chipping in with their thoughts. An architect had prepared planning drawings, which gave them the 'spaces' they needed - now they had to fill them. Enter Rae Wolf.

The pub itself had a long corridor with which to access the garden, this was being opened up so the kitchen was larger and had direct garden access through new bifolds. It was surrounded by beautiful wooden glazing that they wanted to keep, so this didn't actually provide much workable space for cabinatery.

Originally just looking at the kitchen, we are now also looking at the entrance, hallway and family lounge.

Working on more than one room makes so much sense to me as we can create light and dark zones and ensure a perfect balance and mix of colours, that link throughout but also provide a contrast and tell a different story within each space.
