You want your visitors - family and friends - to feel welcome and at ease in your home. Here are two instances in particular where I find myself stuck when visiting! I’m not talking about the vibe as they walk in, but practically… is everything in the right place?
As you walk into the toilet or bathroom - where is the hand towel? Is it obvious or are they left wondering if this is your personal bath towel?
I loathe a towel rail - if they’re pretty you will never know as they’re covered in towels, if they’re covered in towels - no heat is coming into the room.
Tip - Get hooks for your towels to rest on, a funky standard shaped radiator for heat and then you are left with wall space for artwork!
When they’re making themselves tea and coffee - are the mugs near the kettle, near the spoons? Tip - Make it so! It should be ergonomically relatively simple to find - this isn’t The Hunger Games. . . . 📖 Comment for any other places in other peoples homes (naming no-one!) where you’ve found it difficult to find something. 💾 Save these tips to try for yourself! ✅ Follow @raewolfinteriors for weekly Interior Design & Architecture tips from a professional!
